Before our visit:
You will receive an intake form and any required consent forms prior to your appointment. Please complete these before our visit so I can best support you and your baby.
If possible, please send any relevant access information ahead of time (gate code, apartment number, parking instructions, or anything helpful for arrival).
If your baby is due for a feeding around the time of our visit, try to wait if possible so we can assess a feeding together. If that is not realistic, no problem—just feed as needed.
If you have pets, please have them secured in another room during the visit if possible. I love animals, but this helps ensure safety and focus during our session.
If you have Wi-Fi available, please have it accessible, though it is not required.
During our consult:
We will review your questions, concerns, and feeding goals.
We may include:
- Review of your intake form and history
- Assessment of a feeding or pumping session
- Weighted feed (if appropriate)
- Oral assessment of baby’s mouth for tongue/lip function
- Breast assessment and nipple measurement if needed
- Support with positioning, latch, milk transfer, or pumping
Everything is individualized based on your goals and your baby’s needs.
After our consult:
You will receive a personalized care plan with recommendations based on our visit.
You will also have brief a one week follow-up messaging support for questions related to what we worked on during your session.
If you paid out of pocket, you will receive a superbill that you may submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement.
