In Home and Virtual Consults
We offer home visits in the San Antonio, Texas area and some of the surrounding areas such as Castroville, New Braunfels, Boerne, Helotes, and Bulverde. Additional fees may apply depending on your location. All of our services are available virtually.
What can we help you with:
- Prenatal Sessions (learning about pumping and breastfeeding)
- Breastfeeding support from baby’s birth to weaning
- Increasing low milk supply
- Managing fast flow of milk and oversupply
- Preparing to return to work
- Bottle feeding, including bottle refusal
- Flange fitting and pump education
- Preparing to return to work
- Tongue tie assessment and management
- Care for plugged milk ducts, nipple soreness or trauma, engorgement
If you have BCBS (only a few), United Healthcare, Aetna, some multiplans, or Humana insurance you may qualify for free lactation consultations with me. Check if your visit is covered through TLN. If you have Cigna you should be qualified, check if you are covered here for Cigna coverage.
If you don’t qualify for either of these you may still get reimbursement from insurance. I will provide you a superbill following your appointment and you can submit to your insurance and there is always a chance insurance will reimburse, although no guarantee.
Travel fees may apply for home visits which is not covered by insurance. Please note that insurance coverage and patient responsibility vary by plan. For questions about your specific benefits or potential cost-sharing, please contact your insurance company directly.
